Growing up in Northland I have always enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle. When it came to finding a career that allowed me to continue living an active life along with serving others, chiropractic ticked all the boxes.

Having been under regular chiropractic care since I was a baby I know the benefits of long term proactive spinal health.

My mission is to educate and help other families get the most out of their health.

I take a particular interest in people who suffer from chronic long term problems as well as disc related injuries.

When I'm not in the office you can find me in the garden, down by a river fishing or getting into mischief with our son Fred and dog Paddy.

Dr. Aidan Mollie Mahoney

Chiropractor & Founder

Originally from Canada, I moved to New Zealand to pursue my passion for Chiropractic. As an avid hiker and outdoorswoman, I naturally chose the South Island and Dunedin city as my new home.

After welcoming my son Fred, I'm back with even more passion for serving our community in Dunedin and Balclutha. With a special interest in pediatric chiropractic, I love working with babies, children, and families to promote wellness from an early age - furry friends included!

Coming from a family of chiropractors and having played elite-level soccer, chiropractic was my go to for that 1% edge. I am deeply passionate about empowering others to maximise their health – whether it's gaining a competitive edge in athletics or ensuring our hardworking farmers stay active and resilient.

Outside the clinic, you'll often find me exploring Otago's stunning landscapes with my family, buried in a good book, or lounging in the sun with our beloved dog, Paddy.

Michelle McFelin

Chiropractic Assistant - Dunedin

I am a born and bred Dunedinite, happily married to my partner in crime and best friend.

Having spent over 25 years working in the dental world helping to serve the community I am no stranger to health care. After a few years of owning and running the local Cheesecake shop I felt it was time to return back into the health sector.

For years I had struggled with ongoing back and neck issues, regularly seeing my Chiropractor has been the most effective way of helping with these problems along with my overall health. 

I love working at Otago Family Chiropractic because I get to see so many wonderful faces and watch the growth of peoples health.

When I’m not in the office you can find me, walking around our beautiful city, socialising with friends or supporting local businesses with some retail therapy.

Chiropractic Assistant - Balclutha

Originally from Central Otago, I moved to the best place in the world - Balclutha! You may recognise me from my salon Mask Beauty and Hair. Having been in the hair and beauty industry since the age of 19 (*cough cough* only a few years ago). I have always had a passion for health and seeing my community thrive by looking after themselves.

After meeting the OFC team and becoming a patient myself, I saw how Chiropractic can benefit everyones lives. I believe chiropractic should be as regular as your monthly hair cut. Together they will keep you looking beautiful and moving youthfully.

When I'm not at OFC or in my salon you will find me relaxing on my deck with a glass of vino, fur babies at my feet and my wonderful kids playing and exploring our back yard.

Padfoot "Paddy" Mahoney

Practice Pup

Hi! I'm Padfoot but you can call me Paddy. I'm a rescue pup but I'm pretty sure I rescued Mum and Dad. You may see me around the practice from time to time. I'm still a puppy and sometimes forget how big I am but I love love love pats and attention........ oh and treats!

My favourite things to do are going on walks, meeting new friends and getting into mischief because then I get to use my puppy dog eyes.
